Upland Meadows “Sunny” is a black & white field bred English Springer Spaniel.
Sunny is a medium framed black and white field bred Springer Spaniel out of our first Mia x Emmett breeding. She is all business! She has a ton of drive, is a great bird finder and marker, and extremely intelligent. Sunny is athletic with a powerful running style.
Her natural abilities reflect the strength of her pedigree. Her Sire, Emmett, is a very talented Field Champion with a great deal of drive and a very popular sire. His dam is a National Champion, his grand dam is a National Amateur Champion. Mia, Sunny’s dam, is also out of “Zip” a National Champion and “Flask” who placed 4th in both the US and Canadian Nationals.
Although we have not trialed Sunny, she has all of the attributes required to be a field trial competitor, three or four of her litter mates have competed and placed in field trials. Sunny was the pick of the litter.
In addition to being extremely talented, Sunny inherited much of Mia’s (her Dam) temperament. She is a great house dog: calm, quiet and clean.
We have recently bred “Sunny” to “Tommy.” Expecting puppies in early August.
