Now taking deposits on a planned breeding between Uplands Lighthouse Mia and Misty River’s Gordon “Gordy.”
Uplands Lighthouse Mia is an exceptional dog in the field. She is very animated dog who runs hard and has the drive and stamina you want in a hunting dog. She is a very natural retriever without any “force fetch” to enhance her retrieve and has a great delivery and mouth. In addition to be everything you would want in a hunting dog, she is the first and only dog my wife has allowed to sleep with us in bed. She is very calm, quiet and clean in the house, never aggressive with people or other dogs.
Misty River’s Gordon “Gordy” is an exciting up and coming “trial” dog whose most impressive attribute is the pace and power with which he runs. He also is an exceptional bird finder with a great mouth. I expect ”Gordy” will have a very strong showing in the “Open” this fall. Like Mia, Gordy is a house dog who adores the family he lives with.
